Anne Braun, born in 1984, is a Berlin-based cinematographer, filmmaker and visual designer working in the fields of video, theatre and photography.
Her repertoire of work, containing documentary, fictional and installational projects, is characterised by diversity. She deals strongly with the formal aspects of the media itself but approaches also an emotional way of cinematographic storytelling. She participated in video productions that were shown nationally and internationally at the Berlinische Galerie, the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute - Chongquing, and the Kunsthalle Baden-Baden. As a video artist she took part in european theatre productions such as "The Writer" and “App Human” at the Théâtre de la Ville Luxembourg and "Volksfeind" at the Schauspielhaus Zurich.
In 2012, she successfully completed her studies in “Audiovisuelle Medien (Kamera)" at the Berliner Hochschule für Technik (former Beuth Hochschule). Today she established a wide experience in media education and teaches seminars at the Universität der Künste Berlin, the University of Europe Berlin and the Berliner Hochschule für Technik.
